
DESCRIPTION
For this work, we were tasked to create a lockout inspired by the game God of war (the 2018 one) taking place in a forest biome. Thus I wondered what a level taking place on the hand of a decaying titan would look like.

I really like to implement organic matter in my levels, such as giant bones from creature who would have roamed the land eons ago. On the picture just below you can see a bridge formed with a spinal column and ribcages.

In order to not get lost immediately in this magical forest, the player will be able to see one recognizable landmark thorough the level: a broken finger, pointing down to where the treasure the player seek is. Leading to it, we can see the ribcage-like structures again, this time forming a sort of hallway toward you goal.

As mentioned earlier, the level takes place on the hand of a titan who died centuries ago. With time, an entire ecosystem developed on this corpse, forming a dense magic forest.
The player starts at the "wrist" and must reach the treasure located at the base of "the ring finger". That being said, the direct way is blocked and the player will need to collect 3 runes scattered across the hand. One of them is located at the "pinky finger", another one at the "thumb", wit the last one being between the forefinger and the middle finger.
On top of that, the player will have to face monsters, beasts born in this forest and who will attack anything on sight. The player will need to fend them of in order to progress.
